The Peninsula Center Mall is
centrally located in Soldotna about One-Half mile southwest of the Y junction with the Kenai Spur Highway. Surrounding properties include a number of smaller retailers and strip malls. Satellite
buildings in the front parking lot include McDonalds, Godfather's Pizza, Trustworthy Hardware and Blockbuster Video.
Soldotna is on the western Kenai Peninsula and
stretches for over a mile southwesterly along the Sterling Highway and Northwest along the Kenai Spur Road. Soldotna has a population of approximately 3,800 people, and the Kenai Peninsula Borough population is just over 44,000. Soldotna has a strategically central location on the sterling and Spur Highways. It is a crossroads for homer and Kenai traffic.
